Tassman in Live

Post by flowdesigner » Fri Dec 18, 2009 2:21 pm

Hi,

How is Tassman working for you in Live?
Is it bugs?
Do you recommend it in addition to suite instruments, max and Reaktor?

Im interested in building stuff, not interested in the factory presets.

Is Tassman an ongoing projetc, Tassman 4 is 5 years old or something? Thanks

Is the basic oscillator and filters the same as Live Analog?

To me the Tassman VCO sounds cooler, but im probably fooled by the user interface

Tassman is very cool but definitely in need of an update. Where it really excels is in the realm of physical modelling. A great set of third party patches are available @ http://www.electric-himalaya.com/tassman4.htm - Go through the sound category demos, they really show off the organic nature of good patch design with Tassman.

The latest update works perfectly with Live 8.1.1 b3 (tested on both Mac & PC).

Tassman crashes live everytime I load it into a project.I actually love the sounds it produces, but I have been advoiding it lately because it's so unstable.
