Trigger a clip in a midi track

Post by beatpoet » Thu Dec 31, 2009 3:31 am

I have a midi effect sitting in a track and I want to send a bang from this effect to trigger a clip in the same track.

I see using the live.path object I can access track properties like volume pan etc but how to I access the clip matrix ?

If you want to trigger the selected clip you can use the path: live_set view detail_clip.
For the selected clip slot: live_set view tracks X clip_slots Y
...
This is not the only pathes, depends on what you need. You should have a look at the Live Object Model (LOM) in the Max Documentation).
