Just curious: what do you charge for a lesson?

Is it possible to get live-lessons online (apart from video tutorials) somewhere?

Yeah its cheap since I´m just starting and I need to get some students first. The hassle is more about getting the students you know. If I had hundreds knocking at my door I might raise the price a little, hehe.

Hey thelark, I don´t know about online lessons, but if you want to I could try to give you some. I guess that would involve skype and some program that lets us monitor our screens mutually. PM me if you´re interested, I could try and find a way.

Hi i know you posted this in 2007.. so not sure if you still around etc.
I just posted a request... maybe you are interested..

Hi there, i am pretty new to this recording game and recently started using Live 8.0.4.
I am looking for someone who would want to earn 20/30 Euro and come over to my flat in Kreuzberg for a few hours and just help me sort out the little problems i am having with my audio software etc.

My main problem at the moment... is that yesterday i set up everything as normal and went to record a vocal track as normal and everything is fine.. but the playback: no sound... then i played an old track i did, again: no sound... yes i have selected my interface in preferences audio and yes even my itunes plays through it into my desktop speakers... so is there something that i am just not doing right.. normally this kind of problem is fixed in a second by someone with experience.. but at the moment, i am finding it very hard to be productive if i keep getting little hurdles like this.

so
1. can you help with this immediate problem?
2. can you give me a introduction lesson..earn some cash!!!

Sure thing man, and by the way this is not of 2007, this is a recent add. Just drop me a PM.

About your problem, do you have more than one soundcard? Is it just the recording that is not coming out of the speakers, or any sound of live at all?

Great to know that now there's a nice and competent Live teacher available in Berlin.

I know Grappadura in person, he's a really knowledgeable and friendly guy.
Grappadura plays beautiful music on Sunday evening chill-out lounge at Soupanova every now and then.

I can fully recommend him as a Live teacher.

Wow, I'd wish to have some active Ableton users here (south of Germany) since I am also pretty new to Ableton. Well, this means that I'll have to figure out everything by myself... which is not really bad!

sure, thats good, and there are a lot of very useful tutorials everywhere. But surely you can find some people down there who use live, its always rewarding to see how others use the program.

You should try and get Ableton Trainer certified next time they do that stuff in your area, then you could charge a lot more for your training sessions.
