APC6000
Re: APC6000
That looks fucking excellent. I want one. Bring it in under 300euro and I'm having it.
Re: APC6000
guys, you're dreaming a bit
bring it under 100€, and I get it
(indeed, it would be nice, of course!)

Yes please!! And make them non-endless, please!julienb wrote:not enough potentiometers for me
I don't have 8 arms, but I need to see all under my eyes without pushing a sub-sub menu button
please, can you add 100 potentiometers

Re: APC6000
Come on.. seriously. I like the 8x8 grid, the step sequencer grid, mixer section/dj section, and the pots but everything is really overboard together. Even then all these could hold their own as independent devices. I don't get the four white buttons above the mixer section and the mpc pads just take up space for no reason.
Re: APC6000
the more specialized/customized it would be, the less it would satisfy everyone

if I could help, I'd do!
YES!!! I ordered some MidiBox 64 stuff a while back. I am trying to finish up an animation job I am before I get to work on in. I will actually build somethings a little different, but eventually a 32step seq would be AWESOME.

I got the Core32 and about 40 pots. Like I said it's been a few months and I have just been too busy with everything to really get going. I made that APC6000 thing for fun after reading some forum posts about the APC20. It' had me laughing as well as everyones ideas about it needing this and that. I figured I would just throw as much together as I could in a way that would benefit my "Live" set.
HOWEVER the controller I want to build is more of a controller for a GarageKey25. I use an older Novation ReMOTE 25, and I am going to replace it and build a new console/case kind of thing. I want to build the GarageKey25 into the console and make it look real nice. That particular keyboard has NO knobs though, so I want to build something specialized for it, & for Ableton! Seeing stuff like your protodeck is very inspiring, and very impressive! After I get the synth controls done, I would like to move on and do something like a 32step sequencer, similar to what I did on theis APC6000 render.
SO I will be blowing up your mail, when I get to building!

4 High response pads (velocity sensitive)
3 complex mode configuration
LED device highlighters for complex mode selections
2 XY pads
2 Touch Strips
High Quality Hampster and Cross Faders in DJ device section.
32 step Sequencer.
USB powered or Firewire800 and AC adaptor
Headphone Jack in the back
Builds whatever M4L device you tell ito in the speach recognition.
Keeps girlfriends from complaining about not spending enough time with her
Cost $200.
Not sure how much it costs Euro???
i like the addition of the a/b buttons, but you seem to have left out the bank select buttons.
and don't try to make this an audio interface. ditch the headphone output. keep it usb and ac adapter powered. too many people have firewire interfaces and laptops don't usually have multiple firewire ports.
great design, though. you got skillz!

Re: APC6000
looks awesome but $200 or euros is unrealistic.
