Porting Live to Agnula platform maybe?

Post by raapie » Wed Jan 22, 2003 10:24 pm

Have you people @ Ableton ever considered to prot Live to the new Agnula platform (a soon final Linux distribution devoted to pro audio)?

That would be the coolest thing in the world. Agnula might become a very, very cool platform for audio freaks like me.

if Ableton uses an OS-objectlayer in the programming-framework it should be not to difficult to to port to Linux. And since OSX is based on BSD it should be maybe even simpler.

Cost effective... yes, it's difficult to say. FinalScratch is build on Linux as well for it's stability, so maybe Ableton can take it in consideration.
