Had a few drinks at a bar in Nha Trang with two friends. The bill exceeded a million. In vietnamese Dong. And I was mostly drinking soft drinks.

I just got mail from my sister, last night the temperature was minus 29 centigrades in central Sweden. That's some kind of record. It's 29 centigrades here in Nam too. But not minus... 8)

Still, I'm kinda missing Live and the rest of my gear. Poor me...

Done.

Well, if by 'play' you mean 'figure out why my footswitch isn't working' (bad cable), done.

Wow, did I get that one wrong.

Just got my Xbox 360 back fro my pal. He modded so that it can copy games to the HD. He also gave me about 7 or 8 games too. I have been out of the gaming loop for about 2 almost 3 years, So last night, I played Left 4 Dead. It's cool!

Today, I went to the rehearsal studio to play with a co-worker who plays guitar(I played drums).
It was pretty good but we are both rusty as hell.

Tonight, I'm going to my father-in-law's friends studio for an audition. If I make it, I'm not sure what that means. I'm guessing it's more let's what the dancing monkey Gaijin play the drums for me.
It's all good though. After that, pops will take me out drinking in some dodgy hole in the walls that I can't get into without him. So much fun to be had!

...wanted to see Avatar again but didn't have the time. Maybe next Friday.

Back still Crappy, but made a point of clearing out the crap from studio (corner of the lounge) and bringing a controller in from my garage/office/studio. Now consists of iMac, Live 7 and a trigger finger. Going for the minimal approach and think I will be more productive in the warm!

Decided it's finally time to learn my way round Sampler properly.

Also want to learn the Guitar. Can anyone really learn the guitar using Garageband lessons? :P

-Totally re-arranged my "home-studio" place to make room for the new mackie C4 pro. (one afternoon)
-poker evening with friends and lots of rhum
-recorded a minimal/techno mixtape after the poker, 2 to 6 am on saturday morning
-slept a bit until saturday lunch time
-Installed mackie C4 commander pro, tested the juno 2 instruments file, struggled a bit, then had fune tweaking juno's parameters on the C4

Now fully working home studio setup.

and... NO CREATIVITY.

well, today I'll play sex and video games with my GF. much more fun that staring at all my musical gear without ANY creativity at all....

cheers

Hey Funky, I don't find the option "get paid for your music" in Live 6, I searched everywhere in the software, but... no "get paid" option,

is it a live 7 or 8 option?

is it a package to install?

thanks for your answer, I'll be really happy to have this option available :o

Spending all day tomorrow blowing glass in between tending the smoker so I've got pulled pork shoulder for UFC tomorrow night. Sunday will be devoted to sticking a new 2TB hard drive into my main desktop as drive C: and reinstalling everything while I watch the superbowl.
