LOST

I was sure there'd be a multi-page discussion about the new series by now...

Anyways - what do we think? I spent most of the time trying to remember where it left off in S5 but was pretty impressed overall. That sweeping shot from the plane right down to the ruins underwater was fantastic!

Each season before the first episode they make an episode that brings you up to speed on what happened previously. That probably would have helped you from scratching your head about what is happening.

I've been meaning to check out Fringe, but isn't that about aliens? That's something I have very little interest in.

No, I can't remember having seen any indication of aliens in Fringe. It is a pretty blatant X-Files ripoff, but if you can
get past that, and if you like Lost, it's a pretty sweet show; it has a lot of "Woweeee! I want more. Now!" moments. I'm
sure it will be cancelled eventually, though - I think people's attention spans are pretty limited nowadays, compared to
ten - fifteen years ago, when I was glued to the television screen watching the X-Files. Just like with the XF, Fringe isn't
about quick answers and closure, and when 10 minute Youtube clips are becoming the main source of entertainment for a lot of
people, something's gotta give. Then again, Lost, at times a seemingly endless chain of unfinished tales, is in its sixth
season now, so never say never.

Is this the real one, or the potential one? Or is it both? Is what I'm typing congruent at all with what's happening in the other version?

Watched the whole thing again tonight - I'm liking the whole 'what if they never crashed' scenario a lot. The subtle differences... and the lingering feeling that although events appear to be playing out normally, they may be subconsciously aware of their alternative/previous course too.

Nice to see that in its 6th series it's still great telly.

It's The X Files all over again. It'll never come to a satisfactory conclusion. The truth still remains "Out There".

a big fan of Lost here.

i think right now Jakob will live through Sayd body and fight against his nemesis who took Locke's body.

Dead Juliet tells Miles "it worked": will she be "the medium" through the two split dimensions?

we will see..

TV is for morons and SO last millenium - I got rid of mine ages ago. Enough stupid shit on the Internet plus I get to be part of it and I get to decide when.
I could download TV series off torrents but guess what... I don't.
