The Who at the Superbowl...

Post by H20nly » Mon Feb 08, 2010 1:12 am

I'm not a big fan of The Who by any stretch...

That was one cool performance.

The lights, the lyrics, the music. good. 8)

I just turned on the Super Bowl now. Not even sure why. Missed the half time show. Looks like the score is close though so could make for an interesting second half I don't really follow sports and when I've gone to a Super Bowl party by the half time show most people are too fucked up to even care about the rest of the game.

we'd better let Gerhard and Bernd know about this right away .....

well it beat the hell out of some silly pop sizite.

I guess I just appreciated it for the music. I didn't have an attachment or preconceived notion really and still said wow, several times.

The riddim to 'Won't Get Fooled Again' has to be one of my favourite drumming passages of all time.

But they are really only half of The Who now aren't they? Would be like Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney touring as The Beatles.

So the Saints won then eh? Good on them, great for the city.

 judging by the looks of them, if the vocals where the only thing rusty, they're doing well... just like with guitars or synths, I allow for a consideration when the instrument is vintage.
