Deep-House and Techno, first go at ableton after reason.

Post by Sanderr » Wed Feb 10, 2010 4:39 pm

Hello all,

After using Reason for a long time, I just started using Ableton. My tracks 'Vacuum' & 'Flunky' are now produced entirely in Ableton. The other tracks on my cloud were made in Reason and are going to be released soon, but please feedback me on the Ableton songs!

Live is another tool to help be creative. I also use Reason so I know that you are facing a learning curve. These 2 mixes are pretty nice starters on you new platform so stick with it. Thanks for sharing.

Never really used Reason, always been a Live user - but loving the tracks, keep them coming.

Hey,

Really liked Vacuum, it's got a wicked groove. I thought the off beat hat was a bit too sharp and metallic sounding, it seemed to stick out from everything else, but the track definitely made packing easier :D

Thanks for the feedback! As the track is still a work in progress I still have to improve the drum loops a bit. The hi-hat is indeed sticking out to much, thanks for sharing it, now I know for sure to change it a bit;)

Just updated it, it has got a nice break now and completely new drums. I think you like it a lot better now!
