Can anyone recommend a good torrent site for samples, sound clips, drum samples, beats, stabs, hits, one shots, etc

It's not a torrent site (I don't think you're gonna make any headway finding sites that rip off other people's efforts in here) but you could take a look at http://www.freesound.org/ there's all sorts of samples to be found there.

You could also sample of records though be sure to clear any samples you use before you release anything, else you could find that all financial rewards get paid to somebody else and you're left with nothing but the legal expenses.

Alternatively, you could try and make your own samples.....all you need is a microphone and some know how if you want good results....not as easy as it sounds but not impossible.

I was thinking of free samples - not ripped off CDs - give me a "little" credit!

But that aside, that link is FANTASTIC.. loads of cool samples from vintage synths..

Ok, credit given, it's just that torrents are mostly used for getting bootlegs of this that and the other.

Glad you like the link, i've known about it for ages, though to be honest, I rarely use it as I tend to make my own samples. Perhaps I should though as some people have taken great care in their recordings, as well as using a variety of equipment that I don't posess.
