Any M4L users in Leeds, UK? Any courses in this area?

Any M4L users in Leeds, UK? I've just bought it (around a month ago now) but am still learning the basics as I'm juggling this with work, studying at uni and looking after a newborn baby!

I think the tutorials provided in the Max software are excellent, but I'd love to attend a course on it, simply to save time! Does anyone know of any courses taking place in the Leeds area, or where would be the best place for me to find out?

Thanks in advance, and apologies if I'm asking a dumb question with any easy answer.

I'm a Leeds m4l user. Not heard of any workshops though I'm afraid. If anything comes up, I'd be up for it. I have a whole load of ideas for it, but dont really know how to put them into practice.

Hello!

How are you finding Max? I'm slowly getting through the tutorials, but I have to admit its pretty slow at the moment. I've got a newborn little boy whose taking up most of my time, but I'm trying to grab the odd moment here and there. I'm going to start small - I'd like to have a go at designing a step sequencer that is able to produce random patterns.

I'm currently helping setting up machines at a new premises for a company (Future Arts) in Leeds (31 Eastgate opposite Hoagys). We will be running Ableton Masterclasses. One of the main ladies involved is Paula Temple an Ableton Certified trainer and world touring DJ. I must add these Masterclasses are open to all abilities and can be though of as more of a community thing, where Live users can experiment chuck ideas, M4L devices about get feedback from industry professionals etc.....
