ableton uc33e presets 21 22

I have just started trying to use the uc33e midi controller with ableton based on the presets 21 22. I have downloaded every manual known to man and pressed every button and combination there is, except the one i want obviousley. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEcould some one in laymans terms explain how to set the uc33e following opening a session with a preset. Everything I read says "use preset 21 or 22 for various midi controls" but nothing actaully explains how to set a preset via the midi controller, So before I vacate my bedroom of this controller (window wise im thinking)and go and get a proper Job, could some one help,.

just set hte global channel on the Uc to be 1.

hit crtl-M to blue-highlight the controls in live.
then select one
then move the uc knob
ctrl-m to get out of midi assign
and you are done.

do this for every control you want to use.
and RTFM

I dont think presets load by themselves if that's what you're wondering. Preset 20-21 might be a sort of template that is being referred to, you still have to manually assign all the controllers.
