5 bucks at the thrift store...

Post by continuous » Fri Mar 05, 2010 9:26 pm

I really enjoyed this. Four doods go to the thrift store with a 5 dollar budget for records then come back to their zones and make toons. They all use different setups. Never done any sampling of records before but I think I'm inspired to have a play now!

I saw the preview for this a while back, nice to see the full length video...makes me wish I could have gotten my hands on one of those presses, but there's just no way they could sell them.

Also, high just from watching that. Like, super-blazed. Whoa.

Great little film. That would make a cool weekend challenge.

They ring their hands with glee as a matter of course. It's part of their daily routine.

cool!
I saw that Daedalus dude perform in my town a couple of months ago. Had a short chat with him after the show, he seems like a nice fellow :)

I think Ras G is on the Brainfeeder label, I enjoyed his last outing but it is quirky beats. It's one hell of a skill those boyz have got. I have tried....and failed....to emulate.

It is fun though. I might try summat later in an APC jam!
