Help!!!!Using Live 6 for FOH sound

Hello all,
Hopefully someone can help me out. The problem we are having is using Live 6 for the FOH Sound. Equipment, Mackie 1640 onyx firewire board going directly to an Imac 24. There is a delay issue say when the drummer hits the kick drum, the sound is delayed about 1/2 second before it comes out of the PA. Anyway to get rid of this latency?The band is a 4 piece blues/rock band and would like to use live 6 for sound and get rid of the rack gear.

Are you using the ASIO drivers in your audio Preferences??

Also, have you adjusted the latency for the interface's control program?

Yes, using ASIO tried playing with the latency and still having delays getting from the stage to the fronts.
