fold selection in clip

Post by rude_NHS » Mon Mar 08, 2010 10:26 pm

i think it would be cool to be able to select a region in a clip then fold it so it doesnt play back in the clip, like editing it out but without having to put the clip into the arrange page, cut it, then consolidate it then put it back in the session view.

non destructive mind...

You can do so_
Just put the start marker at the beginning of your sample, then you can loop from wherever you want.
Add to this the ability to unlink envelope windows_ all is already at hand reach
Maybe I misunderstand...

i fear maybe you have. what i'm saying is that, say there is a section of a song or audio in the middle of the clip i dont want, would be nice to highlight it a 'fold' out, so the clip plays over that section of the clip, rather than cut it out the long way.

non destructive like...

just an idea.

Isn't that the same as 'cut time' in the edit menu?

cut time only works on clips in the arrange page. i'm talking bout clips in the session view.
