Importing Kontakt sample cds into Sampler

So i recently got lives sampler to succefully import older akai sample cd sound banks into live.
Now i,m looking at Importing Kontakt sample cds into Sampler. Is this also possible to do ?

It's possible but no fun at all. Put the Kontakt Samples into Live Sample Library in a seperate folder. Then take every single Kontakt Patch and pull it over Live's GUI. The Patch will be converted into a sampler patch. But without any batch converting. Have fun...

Yep. like he said > drag n drop your files into Live
and you can save and organize your presets in Sampler/Lives Browser manager all together.

Yes, a lot of work indeed. And then you have to go about fixing what didn't import right, such as envelopes, volume settings and such. I haven't a lot of luck with accurate patch import. Even simple things like volume being at -16 for no reason. Or a plain wrong envelope. It's good to have Kontakt also.

I have kontakt as well but never use it. i,m trying to stick with one sampler and lives seems totally adequate for what we do hear.
