Re: melodic hiphop/electronica
Very nice with the exception of the turntable noise. It just sounds too artificial and a bit too loud. A throw back tune from yesteryear. I enjoyed that. Thanks!
Re: melodic hiphop/electronica
yeah thanks, I was dubious about too. It's not the absolute final mixdown so that'll eventually probably appear less, be quieter, or just leave the song.

That's a cool tune! The noise is too much, though. I would get rid of it altogether.
What synth are you using, particularly for the bass? It sounds really good!

I'm borrowing a Korg Mono/Poly from my friend
and come to think of it, I can't really remove the noise from the melodic pad sound without dampening the pad sound as well. I guess that's what happens when you use Sampler with field recordings. even so, I'm actually growing a little fond of the noise. I'm not afraid to be a Fly Lo copycat...

Very, very good. I envy this sound, very nicely produced.

a track I've made recently with less "noise" - soundcloud.com/thomaserwin/exploriment

That's too bad. The noise obscures the instruments.opus40 wrote:I'm borrowing a Korg Mono/Poly from my friend
