I agree. Without pression there is no forntusk. No forntusk, no collarmule and so on.

Pression now, the rest will follow.

Call around to a couple of lawyers and ask your question to them. I wouldnt think you get charged more than 50 bucks if you shop around.

Could you get your neighbours to sign something to say that they don't mind you keeping your bike there? Then you'd have a bit more ammo when going to your property peeps and they might be a bit more willing to accommodate you, or at the least stop them pulling the old 'we have to be fair on all the residents' argument.

I don't see why anyone else would mind, seeing as THERE IS SHIT ON EVERYONE'S PATIO. Chicken wire. vacuum cleaners. Knickknacky shit. Table and Chairs. Living room chairs. All kinds of SHIT. But my bikes violate policy. Ass hats.

Honestly, I haven't really done anything about this yet. I've been too busy cat sitting. lol.

 Fair enough, bitching about shit is generally more fun than sorting it out.

I don't doubt that you haven't done anything wrong, it's just in my experience you have to try and take away as many reasons as possible that they can cunt you about on :P

I'm only bitching until the cat goes back to it's rightful owner in a few days. Then I'll go talk to them. I'd hate to have the landlord come over and find my unregistered cat. That would cause a real problem.

But bitching on the Ableton forum sure is theraputic! 8)

I thought I gave you some good tips for reasoning with them, but if you want a good legal stall, ask for them to clarify their terms (define general and clutter) in writing to you. You need to deliver this request in writing as well - preferably certified mail (so there is a signature).
Ableton’s engineers are hard
at work developing code that will allow our software to predict the future, but we don’t
anticipate having this available until at least the next major release.
