Re: Emoticon Ettiquette
My opinion is emoticons have no place in the corporate world/job place. Its unprofessional. Even if its on a subconscious level(which i believe the majority of the time its not) bosses will think lower of someone for sending them any chat-speak/emoticons popularized by 13 year old girls on the internet. I keep it professional at all times and I rarely ever stay stagnant at jobs.

I don't think there are enough emoticons to represent enough grey levels, like can be done by letters in ASCII art, otherwise I'd go looking for a programmer to covert Gay porn into emoticon art. Wonder if that would be tolerated? Just thinking out loud while typing.

<-- this is definitely the best. I know I've spent too much time on this fucking forum because I find myself wishing I had this on my cell and occasionally an email app.
I think ethios4's comment about this guy --> was dead on too. Most of the other apps I see the winky face in... its way too cutesy.
then again, who cares, nlm, works as the bird too.. so,

Guilty. And to bring it back to the original question, for that reason I don't even attempt to type a text equivalent because there is no equal.H20nly wrote: <-- this is definitely the best. The one I hate the most on here is this fucker ->
It's meant to look evil but looks like the gayest evil I've ever seen. Stupid.

Pretty much. Every day I find myself getting duller and duller. I probably fade into a bland pitful excuse for a man in the next couple of months. God help me before I drown myself in my toilet bowl.nebulae wrote:^ so what you're saying is that you're really boring.
