8.0.5 projects work in 8.1.1?

Hi,

I'm thinking of updating my version of live (8.0.5) to 8.1.1. Will I be able to open 8.0.5 projects in 8.1.1 without any loss of data?

in theory .... yes

back stuff up and "collect all and save" your projects though - good habit to get into

8.1.1 has had many issues for some.
Make copies of your projects so you can go back to your originals if 8.1.1 doesn't work out for you.

You can always open projects made on older versions of live on newer versions, but you can't go back.

you can always keep live 8.0.5 and the library separate so that can go back if you need to

when you open your 0.5 projects in 8.1.1 - save them under a slightly different name so that have one copy of you project still compatible with 0.5
