anyone know if the wheels are still turning at sonalksis?
i'm thinking of buying some of their plugs but have noticed that the website hasn't been updated in ages, nor have they released a new product in quite a while.
kinda scares me off buying from them. i dont want to be in the situation where i drop the cash only to find out later that the company has ceased and the plugs wont be supported anymore.
anyone know whats happening there?

I know that Dave Gamble has started his own thing DMG Audio.

Their existing products are stable and work well, so I wouldn't be too worried.

their plugins are MONSTERS in plugin-land to me,i haven't found anything that gave me "the sound i imagined" as their plugins do.
they all sound amazing,i use them on a daily basis for mixing, mastering, whatever.

Re: Sonalksis
I am a HUGE fan and advocate of their plugins.
The Don't Crack deal is insane. If any of you have $599 spare it buys you every plugin in their range, they work awesomely in Live, Reaper, Cubase and Renoise. $599 used to be the cost for the Essentials mkII Suite, but you also get the Mastering Suite, Creative Bundle and Dynamics bundle (dynamic eq and compressor) all for this.
The showstopper, must have plugins IMHO are all the Creative Suite (SV315mkII comp, SV517mkII eq, SV719gate), DQ-1 Dynamic EQ, Stereotools, and for sound design the TBK-Uber compressor and Grime Box in the Creative Suite.
It will be the best 600 bucks you ever spend. The Essentials bundle at $299 is also tremendous value, the SV315mkII and SV517mkII EQ are still my 2 go to plugins for compression and EQ and the gate is the best out there. (Luckily I qualified for educational discount, so $300 was the cost I paid for these at the time of purchase).
Sonalksis are right out the top drawer, in the same class as UAD, Flux, Sonnox and Waves (their better plugins). They also have been great to me in terms of support. You can't go wrong with their plugins, even if it's getting on for a couple of years since anything new, Sonnox etc are the same.

Re: Sonalksis
That eQuity one looks sweet too, going to demo that tonight. You can see the Sonalksis influence a lot.

Re: Sonalksis
cheers guys.
i've been playing around with the full demo for most of today and putting them up against some waves plugs. i'm really impressed with the compressor and eq. the stereo tool seems like a big improvement over the waves S1. the multi limit stands up well against the L3.
the only plug i'm not too sure on is the cq-1 multiband comp. i'm sure i'm missing something here or just thinking about this plug all wrong. so far i've just not been able to get the sort of results i might get from the waves lin multi-band.
dont think i can go wrong for $600
