the sunlight in my place is pretty well scattered by the trees out front. some afternoons it completely washes out the APC and laptop, so I usually have the left blind down. sunlight in SF? wait until the summer fog. 8O

I have to believe that more than a few editors and cinematographers didn't work for a while after working on Sunshine. it was difficult to watch, I couldn't imagine working on that film. yeah, the science was up there with pi, painful.

a Boss PS-3, pitch shifter with delay. really handy pedal, combine a short delay with a slight pitch and you get a nice reverb out of it. delay and pitch shift are also bread and butter effects. TBH these days, wah wah wankery aside I mostly play clean and add effects later. TS9 is stock, it's a later issue, nice catch. ;)

speaking of the beatles, I can't say that I'm a fan so that rules me out of being all that interested in what I read about lennon in the news today, but for anyone else:

Thanks for the clarification Tone! (I can't bear it, seeing unidentifiable stomp boxes, that I could possibly like… ) Gonna try to check it out somewhere (or new PS-5). Looks like THE Shoegazer-pedal…

SF bay windows are pretty cool for sure, only city I've lived in with a really unique architecture.
Though I never had a place with that kind of view. Who the hell has money at 21?
I posted ages ago, I'll post after this week, studio is still in disarray from the move.

definitely the ikea desk... looks like two corner desks running long-wise with an extension in between and on each end. and go with the t-legs. a desk like this doesn't seem like it would be expensive but when you start building, it adds up quick. use Ikea's office designer software to figure out what you have room for. it'll tell you the price of what you've designed too.
