a tiny update, i got a ridiculous deal on some acoustic treatment over my old production and DJ partner in london, so i though i might as well go for it, i am a very lucky bastard regarding my room acoustics and don't really needed it, well it made everything just a tad drier... needs to get used to a bit...
and just some minor adjustments in placement, otherwise nothing new.

and live 8.1.3 after my initial 'install' horror does fine so far... me happy. (hope it stays this way, though)

p.s. a lava lamp is still missing, though.

@Subfunk,
Is that an SU10 on your desk? Do you get much use out of it?

yes it is a SU10, no i don't get much use out of it anymore, it is more an emotional keep (my first ever electronic music device i bought for home) i only use it for the buttons (midi) our days to switch things... that said the filter has a very unique nasty sound... and i made tracks with it (super low fi), sampling from a tapedeck, many years ago, the only time i really sampled something, except that maschine is getting me now into it. (and that is so much fun!)

Where, and how much was that wireless keyboard/trackpad? .. I always liked the idea of wireless keyboards but I didn't like the idea of having the mouse separate, but I did like the idea of having the keyboard with a trackpad all in one device.

Moved gear in two days ago - From the dark corner in Mr and Mrs Tong's bedroom to light and space!

Decent monitors and acoustic treatment next...

When treated will be set up like this:

Prolly just make some corner bass traps, side and ceiling panels etc...did find this article http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/nov06/a ... s_1106.htm with Midge Eurg's studio treatment which has some inspiration though may ask the esteemed forum (Lounge of course) for advice when I get rockin...

safe.... as they used to say....
