Copy and paste warp markers in live 8?
Re: Copy and paste warp markers in live 8?
Finally found how to warp more than one track once! <3 Works easily But copy paste is missing :/
Re: Copy and paste warp markers in live 8?
well the linked thread is a comedy of errors, myself bumbling through the issue of replacing samples
but anyway the bottom line was that if two audio files are of identical length,
you can warp one,
duplicate the track,
and then drag the second sample onto the duplicate track.
the warp markers from the first clip remain, and now apply to the second audio file.

Now if I could only copy and paste warp markers between tracks of different lengths... (overdubbed takes)
I tried to make the two overdubbed takes the same length as the warped master take in the Arrangement View. The starts I could move together, but the take ends do not line up because one overdub was a few bars shorter.
I guess it's back to warping each 5 minute overdub by hand to the master take?

Re: Copy and paste warp markers in live 8?
long and tedious way when you dd not do them at the same time
warp master
save als
rename master
duplicate als and rename it to second file name
load new file
it will load with warps from file 1 (and waveform too)
reverse file
save als
reload file
reverse it
save als
you now have file 2 warped with file 1 markers and file 2 waveform
anyway thats the way i did it the one shitty time when i warped the whole (really unsteady) drums and forgot to select all before warping (thus leaving the guitars, bass, vocals, etc unwarped)

Re: Copy and paste warp markers in live 8?
I just noticed that if I group 2 tracks together I can warp the group and it will apply to the tracks I have grouped. This is with two tracks of the same length. It's a drum track with one mic on the top of the drum and one mic on the bottom. I'm not sure how this would be handled in a larger group with all different tracks, or if the warp markers will stay if I ungroup the tracks later. But I hope this helps.

one way is to rename the original_file.als to
other_filename.als
and reload them
But how do you do
set 1.1.1 from here to multiple tracks (of equal length)?
or
copy/past warp markers of tracks of equal length?
other_filename.als
and reload them
