Thanks for keeping this updated. If you went by the iTunes store it appears that not much of interest is going on with music apps or it's moving at a snail's pace.

Re: The iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch Resource Thread
Has anyone found a mixer app that lets you playback & mix multiple sound files?
What I'm after is something that has the functions of a mini-Ableton Session view. I want to be able to:
1. import audio files, or even better: access the audio files I import via iTunes
2. browse clips
3. load them into a playback area
4. mix their volume & panning
5. effects would be icing on the cake
NOTE: It has to allow play back of audio files of any length in their entirety (no bars/beats imposed on the sounds).
My interest is primarily about digital audio playback, not loops & sequencers, or recording.
StudioTrack does not support importing, & the workaround sounds like too much work.

This is a strong candidate: Mixtikle
http://www.intermorphic.com/tools/mixtikl/index.html
Doesn't import aif files though But it seems to meet most of my other requirements.

"There's no MIDI API yet for the iPhone OS, so it remains to be seen if anyone besides Line6 can access that hardware. Hopefully that will be addressed in iPhone OS 4, or perhaps Line6 has a custom framework."
