Can't multitask. When you play a game you can only hear that.

Its a beautiful machine though.

Got videos, mp3s, photos, on it.

And a few games of course. Currently addicted to Wipeout

the problems with the first gen japanese models appear to have been sorted out.

if you get wipeout, you can hack it so the "download" feature of wipeout reveals a hidden web browser.

There is an aftermarket mini keyboard available for it and Sony will be releasing one as well.

I predict a version of Acid to hit the PSP for portable music making. I mean, Sony owns Sonic Foundry nowadays, so I don't see this as too far off...

right on!

I love playing Amplitude on my PS2. Great rhythmic training! Hope something like that, with more creativity, where you can use your own loops, comes out on PSP.

I'm not much of a gamer, believe it or not, and am a Mac dude, but just had to have the PSP. Is a sexy little beast. I'm surprised by how cool its turning out to be, in terms of interconnectivity.

Wouldn't be surprised if someone builds a midi controller hook. I predict a lot of people in the creative community are going to get one of these. Reminds me of the early days of the iPod. Speaking of which, the holy grail will be when we can figure out how to use the iPod for storage on the PSP. Those cards are spendy and small.

Aside from games I have my 'portfolio' on there: mp3s, photos, and videos. Its a small, but very dense little cinema display, and when you put phones on or plug into a mixer, it sounds hi-fi.

The music in Wipeout inspires me to get back into playing more techno (and makes me miss my Jupiter 8 I sold for $3,000 back in '84)
