Automation curves and snapping to grid!

Since i am in the process of switching from Logic Pro to Ableton Suite 8, i have only one complain...

automation breakpoints should snap to the grid!!!!

and there should be an option to create smooth automation curves (kinda like in Logic)

and the option to draw envelopes free of any grid or snapping whatsoever

The wish for automation curves is a very old story. That makes it even more sad, that this did not happen until know. Here is everything I found in just one search (I am sure there are severel threads missing). I will post them here also to remind the Abes for the very importance of this:

You see. I can easily say, that this is important for EVERY Live-user!

with regard to snapping your break point if you use the draw tool it will place the break point in relation to the quantization you have set. Its a different method of working I know but I would have liked that in logic also.

Oh How i Wish and wished and after many,many,years still wish for automation curves/Draw tool/and now after testing out, an automation Transform tool similar to what Presonus studio one has.
Just some advancement with automation please,we evetually got clip fades/curves, so live 9 must surly be the time for implementing this important wish. surly all other long term users want this,the technical implecations of this is about as importat as it can get,so please common fellow live users lets get this thread bumped,what more can i say i will be bewildered if This thread is not bumped many times,think about it!!!

I spend several hours to read the manual and to try to find it in Ableton itself - and now I see: this feature does not exist!

Don't understand why - as a former Cubase user I thought that is something which is standard in each DAW. Hope this feature comes soon.

At least I know now, that I can stop to search for this feature...
