Bugs with Live 4.1 and Mbox...

Hello,

I've got a aluminium G4 powerbook macintosh, Mbox and live 4.1. I was in Japan few weeks ago and i was in obligation to cancel one concert in Nagoya. Live 4.1 bugged as soon i tried to load datas.

When i send effects on track, Live stops few seconds then send me the effects.

Sometimes, i get some "noise" from the Mbox.

I want to find solutions because i'll get some concerts at the end of may, and tour on june

Hello bruno letort,

firstly you should use the latest version of Live 4 which is Live 4.1.2.
There was a bug in Live 4.1 responsible for several strange issues.

Furthermore you should get sure to use the latest CoreAudio driver from digidesign.

If you then still have the problem with Live 4.1.2 we need more information about what exactly you do and what happens.

if the noise is a really loud white noise/hiss, it may be related to airport wireless use. mine goes to hiss on the output if i'm transferring a decent amount of data on the airport, and it took a lot of searching in Digi's user converence to narrow down the cause.

if it's not the airport, I'm not sure what it would be from my experiences.
