Moreover Thomas is that they recognize that your contribution is only about YOU. You haven't shared your experience with others by listening and commenting on their work. You once asked "How do you make a living...?". Well part of that is establishing relationships and building a fan base. Another part is networking with others in the industry. Artist typically lose any interest in you if you don't reciprocate. When a fan tells you your tracks are awesome, you'd be better off responding with humble gratitude. If the say they don't like your work, you're better off humblely thanking them for listening. Good luck with your choice. Respectufully!

I am making an effort to find out what's going on locally... I think if anything were to start up it would be from that, but I will try to "give back" a little bit by keeping up with other artists and providing feedback, if that's what you meant. I certainly won't max out this forum anymore than I already have.
