best ableton tutorials??

How long is each video? How long are the feedback videos?

I was wondering, how about offering it in bits, say £X per video, and £Y per feedback video. I mean, if I could send one of my tunes to an expert, for a reasonable sum, and get some detailed feedback including a few actual examples of improvements and how to achieve them, that would be pretty interesting.

That is a great suggestion and one we are considering putting together. The area you have cut and paste contains links to more information about those courses if you would like to find out more. The Complete Package has a running time of just over 11 hours, the Focus Package around half that.

The closest we currently off to your suggestion is the Focus, it allows students to pick the subjects they want to study and we compile a set of specific videos & projects for them with feedback videos and online chat sessions.

You should send that launchpad-reset-bug when going out of midimap-mode to ableton ... maybe they can implement a 'lock'-feature so that you can keep the LP in automap-mode.

Thanks, I have asked the Novation guys to see if they can help first. But I know they are flat out with the new dicer thing. If it turns out its an ableton issue I will go to them to see what can be done.

I wanna know how to get my sounds beefed up to a pro level. Can you show us how to do that? Im told my sounds are too weak, especially the drums.

Awesome glad you like them, and dont worry there is lots more to come! As I say I do a video every week, tho its not all tutorials I do gear reviews, interviews and whatever.

I have had a few questions about drums so I will be doing a video if not a few on that in the future. Although right now Ive got alot of kit I need to review as I have to give it back on a deadline (including the LP saddly), so I have to get them all out the way first.

Im still working hard to improve the show so feel free to keep the feedback and questions coming.

well, as an impartial, not very rich, relative newbie, the Groove 3 drum tutorial was excellent, worth £20.00. The only thing I would say is I would like a bit more on how to get beefier sounds. Obviously that would take a whole tutorial, maybe its covered in the others.

Hi Funken, when you say "beefier" sounds, can you please elaborate? I'm currently on an Operator title, and I'll be making some drums and bass sounds in there somewhere, I'm more than happy to dedicate something to you! Give me some specifics of what you are feeling you would like to know and i'll incorporate it somehow... like in the kick/bass videos or something
