Re: z3ta+ for $20
They had a good run with this synth selling it at $249 for 2-3 years before they ran out of ideas for the annual Sonar upgrades and chucked it in free with SOnar 7PE.
Decent wavetable based synth though, $20 is good value for non Sonar, PC users.

Re: z3ta+ for $20
like for zero $ ??
I would be interested as I am flat broke if this was the case ... If I had 20 bucks I'd buy this synth but even that is too much right now.

I personally don't why everyone's so excited by this synth, sure it's ok but I bet loads of people are doubling up on similar tools when they buy it.

Re: z3ta+ for $20
This synth arrived with my Sonar , but i haven't began using it till it appeared in Live for me. Pretty gutsy synth and very easily tweaked. Has been used in many trance tracks over the years. Personally i preffer sylenth1. But if you're on PC, for $20 this is great value imo.

dude, email them, I'm sure they'll sort you out - it's an honest mistake and not difficult to make.cacti wrote:if anybody wants my serial number they can have it.

I'll take it... I still haven't received mine from Cakewalk. Purchased online yesterday.

Re: z3ta+ for $20
Bought this and really like it. Used a couple of times before but going to try and get really into it. I know it's not the best, fully packed synth but I quite like simple synths that sound good. Plus Its a bargain for 20.

Re: z3ta+ for $20
I would like to say that Cacti was kind enough to offer the serial # to me for no cost right after my shameless begging, but unfortunately, Cakewalk don't seem to have a way of downloading the zeta+ executable file and although they have a VST demo downloadable for windows, it has no option to upgrade to the full product by purchasing a license.
I'm not sure what the license transfer situation is, but would be surprised if they allowed transfers (especially free) on a $20 product.
So ultimately, a brilliant gesture from Cacti but I can't use the synth (the demo is especially annoying too as it fades the sound out and back in every few seconds).
I sincerely hope he can get his money back, that would be the right thing for Cakewalk to do.
