I did it again last night at a bar. Go to NYTimes on my 3GS, go to NYTimes on dude's iP4. My phone loads instantly. His freezes on a nice, crisp, blank white page.
It just works.

BBC app update out today - fixes some blank page bug, maybe the same as yours...

The battery life is so much better on the new iPhone too coming from the first gen. I got mine Thursday night, haven't plugged it in to charge since the original sync that first night, and the charge still hasn't gone down to even half yet. My first gen I had to charge it every other day if I fiddled around with apps for more than a few hours.

Give it 6 months. It'll be free by then; although there may be relentless iAds that pop up.

Am I trippin' or did there used to be an unlimited data plan for the iPad? I might have even said in here that there wasn't but I don't feel like reviewing. I was doing better than I thought I would with the music streaming with just a few days to go on the month but then I bought an entire album and the download quickly ate up my remaining data. Then I went to upgrade the plan and it tops out at 2GB. Better than the 250 MB but I thought there was an unlimited plan.

maybe you could get a blackberry and a plan from Verizon and tether it.

The stupid thing is they do offer an unlimited data plan for the iPhone. I guess they assume (and probably rightfully so) that people would be more likely to abuse data with an iPad than an iPhone. I'm abusing data with my iPad right now.
Stupider still, they finally offer tethering with the iPhone....for $45 a month.....with a 2GB limit.
But at this point I'm like what's a laptop again?

Eh? I thought they got rid of that option with the new phone. Only if you were previously on the old unlimited plan could you keep an unlimited data plan. Otherwise all newcomers to the iPhone are stuck with limited plans. Can you show me where I'm wrong?
