But following the installation, I assume you have the black and white loading screen when launching the application again, right?

Best,
Although I always got the color screen during the betas, I now correctly get the black and white screen, even after downloading the program only file. This is actually the first time it's ever come up with the proper splash screen for the suite after I've downloaded the smaller file. Never a big issue for me, but I happen to like the black and white one so I'm glad that works. :)
Exactly the same thing here... nice to see the b&w screen without gigs of downloading! :)

Best,
Hi, it looks like I had accidentally downloaded the regular version update rather than the Suite version update. I'm not really sure how I managed to do that  but it's sorted now.

Got a little prob in 8.1.4 in that the Max editor will not open I get:

"the max function"Edit with preview" returned with error -1: internal error"

in lives notification bar, the editor opens in 8.1.3.

Hehe wow my first 8.v show stopper bug/problem I was starting to feel left out.

But yeah aside from this stable....if only I could get the Max editor open, then I'm sure I could crash it

update threads! Most of the time you don't even know what OS someone is running when they post, "It's crashing more for me!" etc. :?
This wasn't pointed at me, but you inspired me to make a signature. Now I'm just worried it's offensively large!
you're a fool ! now, we know your setup and we can copy your sound and steal your style.

I just posted my first thing on the "Link Your Music" forum so they can steal my style from there instead; http://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=145978. Don't think it's likely though as it's probably not minimalist or dubstepppy enough for most people round these parts!
