I have read the manual and every forum I can find on here about how to make cue work. Help! I think the problem is an ableton setting because, for example, i can cue a single track with nothing else playing and it shows up in blue in the track's volume meter, but it will also show up in green on the volume meter of the master track. As you would expect, the cued track shows up in the headphones output and the speaker output coming out of the Konnekt 6. Conversely, if I don't cue a track, it shows up in the main speakers but not on the headphones.
So basically the problem is that the cued track shows up in the main mix.
On the master channel the master out is set to 1/2 and the cue is set to 3/4.
I've got the cue button properly activated. In the preferences, I have the Audio Output Device set to "TC Near (6 In, 6 Out)." In the Output Configuration I have the three buttons on the right activated in yellow: 1/2 Stereo, 3/4 Stereo, and 5/6 Stereo.
Does anyone know what is going on?

Re: Cue Issue (Experienced Users, Please Help!)
This is the normal behaviour in Live, cueing something doesn't automatically cut it out from being routed to the master channel. If you want to stop it going to the master, disable the track activator - you'll still hear it on the cue channel.colinlove wrote:So basically the problem is that the cued track shows up in the main mix.
