American Splendor was an awesome comic book. They made a movie? Huh. Was it animated by Crumb? I wonder what happens to all his jazz records . . .

An interesting film that had both actors playing the characters & the real people as themselves. Nice blend of theatricality & documentary. The actor who plays Crumb, James Urbaniak, is a favorite of mine, & does a good job portraying Crumb's mannerisms.mojofunk wrote:American Splendor was an awesome comic book. They made a movie? Huh. It also features stills from the comics, including Crumb's work.
