Problems using slice to new midi track.
Problems using slice to new midi track.
I can't seem to effectively be able to use the 'slice to new midi track' function, because every time I use it, it creates clicks and pops on the edges of each slice (even without altering the position of the slices). Is there some way to make the resulting sliced loop sound more smooth and to transition more smoothly between each slice?

Hi there
The slicing in Live needs a bit of a look at.
You can monitor between each transient with the info in my sig. You can only do it in arrange page, and you have to put focus on the clip waveform view to get going.
If you do this you can listen for clicks at the ends/starts. and make some clean slices.

ctrl + left/right = select transient
ctrl + shift + left/right = select between transients
ctrl + space = play selection

Hey, Thanks for the reply. What do you mean by "the info in my sig".
