Can I scale and change font size destructively?

Post by flowdesigner » Wed Aug 25, 2010 3:04 pm

Hi,

Can I scale and change font size destructively? I have loads of patches I want to scale from 10 to 12. Zooming works great, but I cant save the result of zooming, can I?

Thanks

You can select everything in the patch and then under Object->Show Fonts, you can change the font and size that is used by all selected objects.

This won't get subpatchers, so you could open your patcher in a text program and do a find/replace for all "fontsize" : x, or something similar.

Thanks, but that makes my patches look cluttered, because, unlike scaling, the objects does not maintain the position/distance to other objects

As the font size of the help patches is 11.595187, I guess they have been scaled somehow? Or have the author of the patch manually typed in 11.595187 as font size
