Programm to record from an audio stream from the Internet

Hi,

I m looking for a programm to record a stream from the internet for my mac - had one for windows in the past when I still used the PC. But now I m on the Mac. Maybe someone knows something. Couln't find any working software

Try Soundflower: http://cycling74.com/products/soundflower/

Once you have it set up, you'll want to go into Audio/MIDI settings on your Mac, and make sure audio is being output to Soundflower. Then, open Live, go to Preferences->Audio, and set Soundflower as your Audio Input Device. Now create an audio track, arm it to record, and make sure input is set to Soundflower. You can now record from the Internet into Live!

Audio hijack is a nice easy one on the mac. Just pop it open and hit hijack and it starts recording from any application you tell it.

Soundflower has problems with periodic sound distortion/garbled sound. It's a well documented problem with no fix in sight. Happened to me just the other night. Though of course your mileage may vary.

Some folks have recommended Jackaudio as a more stable alternative.
