Auto Fade Out

Post by deliverator » Sat Feb 02, 2002 2:41 pm

It would be nice to have a loop fade out at a defined number of measures. For example, enter 8 into a box, and that loop will fade to silence over the course of those 8 measures after hitting an enable box. It would help a lot for those of us without midi faders :-)

today i've thinked on how nice and simple that would be! :D

like, a fade on/off on the clip properties, and a # of measures for the fade...

that would be nice, so you dont get those clipping noises when you turn a loop on or off.

you think it would be easy to do, since Winamp and iTunes can do crossfade in/outs when going between tracks or stopping playback

one way to achieve this is to set the sample to loop OFF, and then add the "simple delay" fx with sync "ON" and the just right amount of feedback, so your sample will fade out while repeating...
