Zombies are cool, but they're overdone (28 days, Night Of The Living Dead, etc., etc.). In fact, I'm tired of zombies, vampires, aliens, predators, and the entire lot of one dimensional "monsters". I'd like to see earth invaded by some kind of inorganic 5-dimensional entity with a molecular structure made with some atoms that aren't on the periodic table. Now THAT...would be excellent.

It helps that the director/producer is none other than Frank Darabont - of Shawshank Redemption and The Mist fame.... 8O

Pretty good coup to get someone like Darabont for the 1st ever zombie TV series.
