The 2009 Genelec Video Contest. Free pair of 8020b's and a 7050b sub! I use the sub every day, and the 8020's are still sealed in the boxes from Finland. They will go on eBay soon.

I would never have forked out so much cash for a pair of cans otherwise, and they were a revelation.
They got stolen a year later so I bought a pair.
2 years later they got stolen so I bought another pair.
They have since been lost (stolen) so now I'm on my 4th pair.
My name is Pitch Black and I am Sennheiser-dependent.
In step 4 of the 10-step program in KA (Kleptomaniacs Anonymous), I'm required to make amends...I'm sorry, Paddy.
I never meant to hurt anyone.

A VHS copy of:
I was at a theatrical screening, & won it because I knew that the "actor" who was substituted for Bela Lugosi when he passed away during shooting was Ed Wood's wife's chiropractor!
Fake Bela Lugosi!

I won a gramophone on a TV game show, haha. Not very useful but looks nice in the studio.

Some years ago I bought a B&W subwoofer.... I filled out the registration card in order to get a cd for setting up the sub correctly.
On the card was a choice of "tick boxes" asking if I wanted to receive a small gift - ie, key-ring.... or if I'd rather participate in the monthly draw for a larger prize.... I coose the latter.... and several months later I got an email - which I at first thought was spam or malware.... so I nearly didn't open it - but in the end I was too curious.... opened the mail only to find that I had won a set of small weather resistant B&W speakers
I answered the mail, and the very next day, I picked up the speakers from a local B&W dealer.... I didn't need those speakers, so I put them up for sale.... sold them the same day - recovering 70% of the price I had paid for the sub-woofer
