Midi mapping question

Hello folks.

Can someone help me solve this problem.
I have an apc40, but i never use the nudge buttons.
What i would like to do is map those two buttons to the grid knob on a beat repeater, one to decrease it and one to increase it... More preferably i'd like them to jump 2 steps every time i press them. from 1/4 to 1/8 skipping 1/6 and so on.

errr, try again. The nudge buttons are simple on/off buttons, they send a single event to live when pressed down and then again when released. For what you want to do you probably need something to interpret those messages and translate them into something useful for you. I supposed you could use something like Max for Live.
