UC-33 Users, I've got a question.
Anyone still using this thing???
Anyway I've got the UC-33 not the UC33e so I'm programing it by hand.
The problem I'm having is with saving my changes. As far as I know there is NO save method when editing. it's suppose to do it automatically.
I'm editing Preset 01.
the UC-33 has 4 buttons for quickly getting to the first 4 presets.
After I edit Preset 1 and press Preset 2 when I go back to Preset 1 nothing was saved.
Totally weird cause if I edit Preset 1 and then power OFF then back ON the unit it has saved my changes no worries. I press the Preset 1 and it all goes away!
Am I doing something wrong?
I should add I've been reading the manual and can't find any info. And I can't use enigma cause it's not the 33e

Hi, can't remember off the top of my head, but you know there's two manuals available? One's the standard user guide, but there's another with much more comprehensive programming info in it - both are (least last time I checked) available from the m-audio site.

Some things to try: after you've finished editing. press "store" and then type the preset number e.g. 03. And then wait the 3 seconds for it to leave edit mode. This is just stuff from the UC-33e, so hope it applies to the UC-33 too...
Re: UC-33 Users, I've got a question.
Haven't used it for a while, but there's definately a method to save your current configuration to a preset.
I think 8O has it quite right already, but the button is "Memory" as far I can recall.

Re: UC-33 Users, I've got a question.
I have one, it was a bore to program but OK once it was done.
from the manual:
To store current settings in a memory location - press MEMORY.
The LCD will flash the MEM and PROG symbols. Enter the number of the memory bank you desire, using the number keys or the + and - keys.
The number on the 3 digit display shows the memory bank selected for writing to, preceded by a P.
To recall - press the RECALL button, the LCD with flash the MEM symbol. Enter the number of the Memory Bank you want, using the number keys or the + and - keys.
The first 4 memory presets are accessable using the 4 PRESET buttons.
