Bome's MIDI Translator with Live

Specifically, i am trying very carefully to replicate the YouTube video:

2 minutes and eighteen seconds into the video, when I am asked, in Live, to turn on the Track switch for the Keyboard Input in Preferences-MIDI/Sync, the font of the lettering for? the Keyboard changes color from black to orange.

The lettering stays black in the video. Does anyone know what the change from black to orange indicates?
