CRAZY AWESOME SYNTHS!! how to do them?

Hey,

How to do these synths, in operator preferably? A lot going on here and it sounds real sawy. Real nice. Talking about the pads, bass and the lead that comes in later.

Flying lotus is a great producer. Very intricate sounds and layering. Most of his stuff sounds like he has lots and lots of fun tweaking with various parameters over time. Yea I live the synths he uses. Not sure what they are, but load a track into live and start with a saw osc. Then add different waves on top of that until u get somewhere u like.

Sorry it's not the best advice, but it's what I do if I hear a part in a song I like. Just to try figure out and learn a new technique.

Would love to sit in a studio with that guy to see how he works.

I think most people are too jealous of Flying Lotus to reply to this thread. It's sad though, because that's a nice sounding synth!
