Warning:Hard To Find Records, anyone had an issue with them?
HTFR.com
Hi. Just want to warn you about these guys. I ordered some music gear from them almost a year ago, and they do not ship it.
I would not go as far as to say its a fraud business, but their ethics are not too good.
The net is full of complaints about them, and here´s another warning.
If you order music stuff and vinyl online, you should check other alternatives first.
Thanks
R.

Maybe the gear you ordered is hard to find and they're still looking for it?sternklang wrote:HTFR.com

They can vary from good to absolutely attrocious, my advice for the uk is to head to Dolphin or DV247.... If you want to get hands on the HTFR shop is good to see and try stuff but is equaled by dv247's branch in Romford.....
I've had plenty of orders taken by HTFR, only to find that they haven't got the goods in stock and i've missed the chance of having the same thing shipped that day from another supplier.... If you use them do it by phone and not be web!
Cheers

DV once sold me a mixing desk they didn't have in stock, told me I would have it by the end of the week....a month later when I really started to get angry with them, I was told that it could be another 6 months before they got my desk....it took me about 2 hrs and a full on argument with one of the managing directors before they agreed to refund me, as not only had I paid for the mixing desk but I had also bought various outboard....I got the refund for everything but it did make me weary of using them again.....saying that, I did buy something from them last year. They do occasionally come up with some good deals.S4racen wrote:They can vary from good to absolutely attrocious, my advice for the uk is to head to Dolphin or DV247.... I've been into DJing, and browsing related forums, for around a decade.
In that time I've heard almost nothing but horror stories about HTFR, especially relating to stock issues. Not sure if they've improved recently (fewer people online talking about buying vinyl, funnily enough) but they've always had a bad name in my mind.

I had a gig abroad a couple of weeks ago and there was one record that was all the way at the end of my collection, or in other words, hard to find.
I guess they are to blame?
