I like the idea of using a scaled back version in your house mixes! Definitely interested in the .als when it's finished :D.

Hi everyone, OK I finally packaged up the Ableton project file and uploaded it for you all to download and play with...

Experimentations in bass 001 - http://goo.gl/7sxoo <<DOWNLOAD & PLAY!!

Feel free to pass it around to anyone who wants it, all I ask is that you use that goo.gl link I provided so I can see how many downloads there are (just to satisfy my own curiosity!)

I've left my email address and details in the "READ ME" file, so if you have any fun outcomes, feel free to send me your updated versions!

Hope you like it!

very nice. but I had hoped for one instrument rack with a couple of macros for distortion and wobble that I can easily copy paste int other sets. sniff, life ain't that easy......

Interesting sounds but my question is ... What is the benefit in routing your bass signals to multiple tracks rather than containing them in a rack and using chains to seperate the freq bands?

Sorry guys, I always prefer to work without racks/macros etc as I always have everything expanded allowing me to easily see and follow any signal flows :)

some nice stuff in there. i got an au warning (i'm on windows) but it still sounds great, so the au plugin wasn't really for the bass?

ah, found it on the master track, it's the limiter.

Talking about Skrillex... what do you guys think has been used to create these sounds (deeplink to youtube below)? Samples or Synths? Do you recognize any common techniques in those snippets he triggers with his ohm64?

domkane you rock man thanks for sharing this! aside from the music this is SUPER valuable for getting another perspective on workflow from someone that's obviously dedicated to their craft. totally adding you to the followed list...

are you a ME? Just wondering what kind of work you've done with Duda? I'm a big fan of Lucifer

EDIT: NM, i answered my own questions..YES to ME and Nerve! I have yet to try NERVE and I'll have to give it a go! cheers again, i'm totally at work, slacking off and deconstructing your set right now LOL.

automate the formant on the vocoders for the angry WIN
