2.8 quadcore big difference between 2.4 quadcore??

2.8 quadcore big difference between 2.4 quadcore??

would the 2.8 processor really be that big of a difference in live compared to a 2.4??? both i5?

have a look on intels site, they usualy have charts detailing the difference.

Yes, a big one !!!

2.4 has only 8MB cache, while 2.8 has 12MB cache.

Lot better performance if you go with 12MB cache...!
No! I'll never use the Push-App Live 9 !!!

So if i had to pick between two macbook pros i5s, one with 2.4 or one with 2.8 i should pay a little more and really go for the 2.8?

save yourself the trouble and get a PC.

I5 and I7 macbook pro's are not quadcore

i don't think so, stick with the 2,4
have you checked live performance test topic ? you should get a good clue of the difference in performance..
A friend of mine has the 2,4 I5 macbook pro, that score 40%, my core duo 2 2,4 macbook pro score 50%
and i've seen,that 2,66 core I7 macbook pro score 33%
so....i think you can expect something like 30% with the 2,8 core I i think....
it's up to you to see ift's worth it..
