Also H-Delay for me.... and the Q10 as very versatile equalizer.

DDMFs LP10 for me is as good if not better than Waves Q10 and massively cheaper (but not in the sound). Also nice GUI with spectral analyser (only caveat - 64 bit versions not yet available, but since Live is still a 32 bit DAW no issues). It also has a very effective M/S processing mode, or allows you to EQ left and right channels L/R seperately.

It also can be used as linear phase, minimal phase, or a combination of the two. $20 http://www.ddmf.eu/index.php

The IIEQ and Colour EQ are also great and you can buy all 3 in a bundle for $40, saving $20. These equalizers sound 5 or 6 times more expensive than they actually are.

Waves is still 32 bit only, as is UAD, as is Powercore (I believe they're in 64 bit on beta), as is SSL Duende and Focusrite Liquidmix etc. As is the DDMF plugins.

Some of these work with J-Bridge, which is a better bitbridge system than anything included with Reaper, Cubase or Sonar, but not all of them - this highlights issues with 64 bit which some people don't realize - it can be a PITA unless all your plugins have 64 bit versions (bitbridging 32 bit plugs is spotty), you have decent 64 bit drivers for audio cards and MIDI devices (some older devices will therefore die as new drivers won't be happening) and your system components/drivers all work under 64 bit (new computers released in the recent past are fine, upgrading an old clunker with a new motherboard will give you grief, no matter how techie gifted you are).

oddly enough I rarely bother with external EQ plugins. Maybe if I do I'll use REQ but mostly I'm happy with the Ableton one.
