gutted

the man lived up to his forum name if you see what i mean - as many people have mentioned, he was always helpful and a cool head on the forum

reading the forum headline just made me cover my mouth with my hand and utter "oh shit .. no"

i guess none of us met him and few of us on this forum will meet each other but when something like this happens the forum family feel comes becomes evident

my love to his family and close friends

I've been a bit hesitant to write something here, because I was wondering if it would come off trivial, or token, or something.

but seeing Buzby write about the forum family spurred me into action.

I have often wondered about people who write on this forum, and how weird the whole semi-anonymity thing can make people act.

It seems to bring out the best and worst in people, and the one thing i really value about this particular forum has been the consistent stream of helpful and insightful advice.

and Leeds was one of those people, who seemed to go out of his way to help people, taking an interest in people's questions and quandaries.

... I know this has been mentioned many times here already, but it's worth echoing...

just terrible news. Leeds was one of the most humble, recognizable guys on these boards and was always willing to help. my heart goes out to his friends and fam.

Very sad to hear this. He was one of the guys I always wanted to reply when I needed advice. He usually did, and it was always worth reading. I never met him in person, but I know I would have liked him.

As well as his own material, there's a little bit of Leeds in the music of everyone he helped here. He'll be remembered fondly.

Jesus just read this, what a shock. I'm hardly on this forum atm but it feels like such a massive loss to the community, R.I.P.

Haven't been browsing the forum for quite a while now. That's really bad news! I'm extremely sorry..

If you wish to help Martin's family out, a bunch of us have compiled a tribute album, the proceeds of which will be going to his wife Judy and his three children:

:( Bad news.
i don't believe to any god or religion to speak about r.i.p. and trips etc, so I hope his family won't get any more sadness.

and a really nice album it is, ranging from gems of pop, to excellent a bit more experimental stuff.
Listen to it, and if you find it in your heart buy it... i just did.

Wow! I've been away too long and missed this. Leedsquietman was always so helpful, knowledgable, and patient. He love what he did and obviously had a heart for sharing it as well. I will miss him a ton. My prayers and sympathies to his family.

[Oh, and I bought the album. Good job, Tarekith and the rest.]
